The history of the productANNAPURNA

Annapurna, the legendary 8,091-meter peak, was the first mountain over 8,000 meters to be climbed in 1950.

The French expedition led by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal made history in mountaineering. On June 3rd, after weeks of struggle, they reached the summit, but the descent would prove tragic. Due to extreme cold and difficult conditions, Herzog and Lachenal suffered severe frostbite. Herzog would even lose his toes.

This ascent without supplemental oxygen was a first, proving that it was possible to conquer the highest peaks. The story of Annapurna remains etched in the annals, symbolizing courage, endurance, and the team spirit of the mountaineers.
