1924 IS A GREAT YEAR FOR THE SPORT'S COMPETITION IN THE WORLD!
In 1924 at Paris, 44 nations and 3,089 athletes (including 135 women) took part in 126 disciplines in 17 sports. The most famous athletes during these competition were the French fencer Roger Ducret, the Finnish long-distance runner Paavo Nurmi and the Hungarian-Austrian swimmer Johnny Weissmuller.
