The history of the productPOMMEL HORSE

OUR "TRIUMPHAL" APPARATUS, ON PAR WITH THE BEAUTY OF THE GYMNASTS' MOVEMENTS!

The pommel horse is one of the six apparatus used in men's artistic gymnastics. Together with floor, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar, they make up the all-round competition.

Originally, the pommel horse was a piece of wood imitating a horse's back, used to store a saddle. It was in the 19th century that Thomas Flare invented the apparatus from a metal model, which soon became a fixture in gymnasiums to the point of becoming a popular image.

It is the ultimate balancing apparatus, the most difficult according to gymnasts. With very little margin for error, the gymnast has to execute a series of balances to perfection, where the keys to success are strength and artistic skill.

Our production is located in France and Portugal.

We worked hard to develop high quality products: the design, the cut, the stitch, the colours... Attached to authenticity that lays deep in the brand DNA, we indicate the place where our products are manufactured, France or Europe.
