1968 was a sporty year, with in particular the biggest sporting event in Grenoble during winter and in Mexico during summer. It is also a year which embodies its «era», with the liberation of speech and body, the emancipation of women and communities...

Sport in 1968 did not escape these changes, the style of clothing evolved ,colors, some athletes took advantage of their exposure to display the fights for their rights. Skiing frees itself from its codes, freestyle develops and the hot-doggers and their acrobatic figures appear for the fisrt time!.
