The history of the productSCOTLAND 1925

HERE IS THE ROSE THAT STUNG THE FRENCH DURING THE FIRST EDITION OF THE 5 NATIONS TOURNAMENT.

1910 marks the integration of France in this competi-tion until then reserved to the 4 Anglo-Saxon countries. The 5 Nations Tournament was born and took place from January 1st to March 28th. On March 3, 1910, for its first home match in front of 8,000 spectators at the Parc des Princes, the French lost to the English with a score of 3 to 11... a respectable score for the French team whose game was still "backward" as its captain Marcel Communeau recalled. No rose without a thorn... France would have to suffer 11 defeats in the 5 Nations tournament before winning a match against the English team in 1927 at the Yves du Manoir Olympic Stadium in Colombes!
