The 1920's french team rooster
This rooster with spread wings belonged to René Crabos, a talented player who was one of the first grand tacticians of French rugby.
This rooster appeared on the 1920 French rugby team's jersey. It appeared on the U.S.F.S.A. teams jerseys (Union des Sociétés Françaises des Sports Athlétiques) in 1913 along with the Union rings. The rooster permanently replace the rings in 1922 after the creation of the current official organism.
This shirt proudly made by Sports d’Époque in partnership with the National Sports Museum.
