A pullover designed steeped in history
Sports d'Epoque, Pic de Nore,
Two brands, each with its history and creators who share the same values of authenticity and French culture.
The budding partnership between these two brands is as much the result of a lucky chance encounter as of a desire to build on this base of a common heritage.Pic de Noire takes its name from the highest point of the Black Mountain, at the foot of which the Regain workshop was founded in 1973 in Castres in the Tarn department. This workshop is well known for its production of uniform sweaters. It clothes the emblematic firemen, army and other French authorities. In 2013, Regain jumped into the exciting world of fashion by launching the Pic de Noire brand of top quality pullovers and jackets with a unique vintage, Jacquard style.
As for Sports d’Epoque, since 2007 it has brought back to life the emblems of the great football and rugby teams of the last century. This brand first concentrated on re creating interesting jerseys from the beginning of the 20th century, handmade near Pau in an original dedicated workshop. Sports d'Epoque has since rapidly diversified by creating a new range of jerseys by placing historical badges on contemporary polo shirts.
From here came the idea of a novel collection of pullovers called ‘Inspirés”, combining the top quality production of Pic de Noire with the historically eloquent creations of Sports d’Epoque.
