The rooster from the 1920's French rugby team
This rooster with spread wings belonged to René Crabos, a talented player who was one of the first grand French rugby tacticians.
This rooster appeared on the 1920 French rugby team's jersey. It appeared on the U.S.F.A. teams jerseys (Union des Sociétés Françaises des Sports Athlétiques) in 1913 along with the Union rings. The rooster permanently replaced the rings in 1922 after the creation of the current official organism.
This polo is proudly made by Sports d’Époque in parnership with the National Spors Museum.
