The history of the product1998

It is likely that in France in 1998 it is not the release of the film Titanic that will be remembered but the World Cup of soccer which the country is hosting.

Les Bleus, first of their group, beat Paraguay 1-0 in the round of 16 with a golden goal scored by Laurent Blanc. They then eliminated Italy in a 4-3 penalty shootout after a match of unbearable suspense. They beat Croatia in the semi-final thanks to an unlikely scorer: the defender Lilian Thuram who scored twice and sent his team to the final. In the match against the Brazilian title holders, Zinédine Zidane scored 2 goals with a header from a corner, then Emmanuel Petit completed the score of 3-0 at the end of the match. In the evening, on the Champs-Elysees, 1.5 million people drunk with joy celebrate the victory of Les Bleus and the first star on the shirt.
